What is the Fine Craft Studio Guide?

‍This comprehensive, user friendly, digital guide that showcases fine craft studios across the province. When travelling through any region of the province, visitors will be able to easily locate nearby studios.

The Studio Guides is promoted on the Craft Council website and on flyers that are distributed provincially.  Distribution included a wide variety of businesses such as  car rental outlets, B&B’s, tourist information centres, craft shops, galleries, museums, and other cultural spaces.

As a digital publication, this guide is easily accessible to a global market and the
perfect tool for a craft lover planning their visit!

‍Marketing Done Right!

‍For over 50 years, the Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador has been pursing stronger links with the tourism sector and finding that the need for a tool to entice travelers off the highways and away from the major centres is necessary to the success of many rural craft studios.

The Digital Studio Guide is part of the answer to this challenge; we will be working to expand the response over the coming years.

Studios listed on the guide must be operated by Craft Council members and provide opportunited to the public to visit your studio to shop or for a craft based experience.
