The mission of the Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador is "to advance excellence in Newfoundland and Labrador craft to strengthen cultural and economic growth." In a world of technological change and automation, our goal is to champion our membership as they create work that demonstrates the hand of the maker. This survey will help us to understand the values and ethics held by craftspeople across the province while shaping our policies and programming.

The questions in this survey are based on recommendations made by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for the ethical use of emerging technologies to help ensure their use respects human rights, promotes fairness, and benefits everyone.
