Susan is a Mi'kmaq/Tuscorora artist who creates modern handmade Indigenous clothing and traditional powwow Regalia. Due to her Indigenous background, Susan enjoys telling stories of her culture through the clothing she makes. You can see this through the use of traditional materials, techniques and designs she utilizes in her work. She often incorporates home tanned furs and hides, beadwork, appliqué and ribbon work into her pieces.
