Join Amanda Penney on October 25 from 6 - 7 PM for an Artist Talk and Book Binding Demo! Amanda's artist talk will be about her journey back to art after a decade away from the community. She will be focusing on finding her way back to her practice and how that happened through career choices and collaborative experiences. Amanda is a mixed media artist but has focused her professional practice on bookbinding recently. It was a passion of hers back in art school and tapping back into that process will be explored and shared in the talk. Following the talk, Amanda will give a demonstration of a basic bookbinding technique and everyone in attendance will have the chance to try their hand at bookbinding.
